Unboxing your printer:

  • The first step in unboxing your printer is to find a suitable place for it. The site that you select should meet the specifications given below:
  • A work surface in an area free from dust and direct sunlight.
  • Humidity of range 10 to 80 percent.
  • Temperature of range 10 to 32.5 degrees Celsius.
  • Adequate space surrounding your printer so that you can open all the trays and doors freely.

  • Next, take out your printer from its box.
  • Confirm that all the printer components are available.

Connecting the network cable:

  • This step is an optional one. You have to perform it only if you are going to connect your printer to a network.
  • Connect your network cable now. Or else, proceed with the next instruction.
  • Remember that your printer is not accompanied by a network cable.
  • Please avoid connecting the USB cable at this stage.

Connecting your printer’s power cable and turning it on:

  • Connect one end of the power cable to the back of your printer. Connect the other end to the electrical outlet.
