123 HP Envy 120 Setup Scanning Solutions

123 HP Envy 120 Setup – To scan from the control panel of 123.hp.com/envy120,ensure that your computer has been installed with HP software, place the document/photo into the scanner and the scan button should be pressed on control panel of the printer.

Step 1 : Loading the document or photo to be scanned

  • Switch on the printer
  • The photo or document to be scanned should be loaded into the printer

Step 2 : Scanning the photo/document

  • Tap on Scan in the printer control panel and tap on the computer in which you are going to save the scan
  • Choose a scanning option that matches the picture or document that you are going to scan
  • Tap on OK in the panel

The 123 HP Envy 120 Setup then scans the media, and saves it in the preferred destination as specified.

Envy 120 Scan settings – For Windows OS

  • Go to HP folder among your list of installed programs in your system
  • Click on your 123 HP Envy 120 printer. The printer software opens
  • Click on the option Scan a Document or Photo
  • Choose your preferences, for eg. Color Mode, Destination, Page Size etc.
  • After you are finished, click on Save settings to save your preferences

NOTE : Please keep in mind that when you save settings in the HP Envy 120 Scan software, the settings are typically transferred to the printer control panel, if the computer is connected to the printer.

Envy 120 Scan settings – For OS X

  • Click on the Apple icon in the menu bar
  • Go to System Preferences
  • Click either Printers and Scanners, Print and Fax or Print and Scan
  • Click on HP Envy 120 and choose Open Print Queue
  • Click on either 123 hp setup envy 120 or Settings, click on Open Printer Utility
  • Click on Scan to Computer.
  • Click on Edit Scan Tasks
  • Click Show Details. You will see a list of scan settings displayed like Presets, Scan to, Type etc.
  • Click on Presets and choose Save As
  • Input a name for your new preset, click on OK. Your new preset is now saved and be chosen for later use within HP Scan.
  • Close the Preferences window.

Printing from Gmail on your Computer

  • The Chrome Browser should be opened first, then sign in to your Gmail account
  • Open the Email that you would like to print
  • Click on the Print icon
  • Go to Print, under Destination, click on Change button
  • Under Select a Destination under Google Cloud Print, choose your printer
  • Change the settings as per your preference and then click on Print

Printing from Google Drive on your Computer

  • The Chrome Browser should be opened first, then sign in to your Google Drive account
  • Open Drive
  • Open the image or document that you would like to print
  • Then click the Print icon
  • Under Destination in the Print window, click on the Change button
  • Go to Google Cloud Print, choose Select a Destination, then choose your printer
  • Change the settings as per your preference and then click on Print

  • Using the app that you want to print from, tap on the Action icon to see the menu options displayed
  • Tap on Print. You will see the Printer Options menu displayed.
  • Within the Printer Options menu, tap on Select Printer. You will be shown a list of available printers on the network
  • In the drop-down menu, tap on HP ePrint printer. You will see the Printer Options menu displayed and it will show the printer that you have selected
  • If you don’t want to change print options, tap on Print and print to your HP Envy 120 printer
  • If you want to change print options then you may do so as Apple AirPrint allows you to print emails, documents, web pages etc from apps that support AirPrint.
  • The Print options might differ based on the app that you are using.

HP Envy 120 ePrint – Setup and Use

Envy 120 ePrint is a secure cloud-based service that enables you to print from anywhere if you have an active Internet connection. The photo or document to be printed should be emailed to your 123 HP Envy 120.

Step 1 : Checking setup requirements for HP ePrint

(Please note that HP ePrint does not work if you connect your printer with a USB cable)

  • Ensure that your printer supports HP ePrint.
    Look for the Hp ePrint logo, icon or button on your Envy printer panel,If the printer control panel does not have a button or an icon, go to the Web Services Setup, Wireless Settings or Network HP Envy 120 Setup to find the Web Services menu.
  • Ensure that the computer is connected to either a wireless or wired (Ethernet) with a working Internet connection
  • Ensure that your Envy 120 is connected to the Internet.

Step 2 : Web Services should be turned on

Web Services should be turned on from the printer control panel or the Embedded Web Server (EWS). This enables your printe to securely communicate through the Intenet with web-connected printing services, like HP ePrint.

Step 3 : Obtaining the printer’s email address

Once you have turned on Web Services, please wait for the printer to print the information page. This page contains information regarding Web Services.Get your printer’s email address from the information sheet and then proceed to the next step.

Why can’t I print from my tablet?

To print from your iPad or any other Apple product, you need a printer that supports AirPrint. A lot of the older models of printers, do not support AirPrint. In this case, download Handy Print, an application that lets you print from your Apple device, to a printer not supporting AirPrint. To print from an Android device, use Google Cloud Print.

  • Click on the 123 hp envy 120 icon that appears on the Notification area, when you start printing.
  • Right click on the printer icon and Open All Active Printers option should be selected
  • Select the print job you want to cancel, and right click it. Then Click CANCEL
  • If prompted, click YES and cancel the job.

How to cancel the print job from the Control Panel?

  • On your Windows system, open the Control Panel.
  • Open Devices and Printers, and double click on the icon of the printer that is printing.
  • Now double click on See What’s Printing.
  • Right click on the print job you want to end, and click CANCEL.
  • If prompted, click YES.
