123 HP Envy 7645 – Copy Documents or Photos with your printer

Making a one-sided copy

  1. Full-size paper should be loaded in the paper tray of the 123 HP Envy 7645printer

  2. The paper tray should be pushed back in and the paper tray extender should be opened

Making a Two-sided copy

  1. The lid on the printer should be lifted

  2. The original should be loaded print side down on right side of the front corner of the glass

  3. The lid should be closed
  4. The settings and number of copies should be specified
  5. Touch Color or Black to begin copying

Print Photos (for OS X)

Step 1: Loading photo paper into the main input tray of the printer

  • Remove any plain paper that is present in the main paper tray
  • The short edge of the photo paper should be loaded in the tray; this depends on the type of printer that is used. If the paper loaded has a perforated tab for handling the photograph after it prints, then, load the paper such that tab faces up or towards you to prevent printing on the same.
    • Inkjet printers that have a rear load tray – Glossy or print side should be facing up
    • Inkjet printers that have a front load tray – Glossy or print side should be facing down
    • LaserJet printers that have a front load tray – Glossy or print side should be facing upEnvy Print Photos
  • The paper width guides should be adjusted such that they rest against the paper edges

Step 2: Printing the photo

The print window should be opened to choose the available setting for printing your photos,

  • Before commencing printing, you may edit the photo to improve brightness, colors, contrast or any other settings
  • Open the photo to be printed; click on File, then click on Print. For the Photos app, click on the Print button at the bottom of the window.
  • If your are unable to see the following options in the window, then click on Show Details

  • Choose your 7645 printer from the Printer menu
  • Under the Preset menu, choose an option that you want to apply to your print job
  • Choose the photo’s Orientation
  • Under the Paper Size menu, choose the paper that you are printing on.
  • Click on the menu displayed at the center of the window and then you may change any settings as per your requirement.
  • Click on Print

Print Photos (for Windows)

Step 2: Printing the photo

The print window and document properties should be opened to set up the print job,

  1. Before commencing printing, you may edit the photo to improve brightness, colors, contrast or any other settings
  2. Right-click on the photo that you would like to print, choose Open with, then choose Windows Photo Viewer or Paint
  3. Click on Print. Or Click on File or the menu icon (Paint), then click on Paint. The Print or Print Pictures window will open and you can view the general print job settings
  4. The printer’s Document Properties window should be opened to gain access to more quality, colors, layout and advanced print settings.
    1. Under Print Pictures window in Windows Photo Viewer, click on Options… in the lower part of the right corner of the screen, then click on Printer Properties… in the Print Settings window
    2. In the Print window under Paint, click on Preferences
  5. This guide can be used to find and use print job settings for photos under the Document Properties window.
  6. You may change the quality and colors settings for producing the best photo printing results.
  7. Click on OK and then click on Print
  8. After you have finished printing, please remove any photo paper from the tray and keep it in the package it came in. You may also keep it in a plastic bag. If the paper is left for a long time in the tray itself, the paper may start to curl.

Scanning from the control panel of HP Envy 7645

To scan from the control panel, ensure that your computer has been installed with HP 7645 software,place the document/photo into the scanner and the scan button should be pressed on control panel of the printer

Step 1: Loading the document or photo to be scanned,

  1. Switch on the Envy 7645 printer
  2. The photo or document to be scanned should be loaded into the 123 HP Envy 7645 Setup

NOTE

If you make a scan, copy or fax and find that the printed output has color bands or vertical lines

Step 2:Scanning the photo/document

  1. Tap on Scan in the printer control panel and tap on the computer in which you are going to save the scan
  2. Choose a scanning option that matches the picture or document that you are going to scan
  3. Tap on OK in the panel

The 123 HP Envy 7645 then scans the media, and saves it in the preferred destination as specified.
